TECHNICAL PRODUCTION PLANNING SPECIALIST

Join to apply for the TECHNICAL PRODUCTION PLANNING SPECIALIST role at GoJet Airlines.

Position Overview

GoJet Airlines is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Technical Production Planning Specialist – Long Term Planning to join our team at our St. Louis headquarters. This role involves forecasting, developing, and coordinating long-range maintenance plans for our CRJ fleet, including aircraft acquisitions, engine and landing gear removals, and heavy maintenance checks. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, strong planning skills, and a collaborative mindset to ensure optimal aircraft performance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or A&P License, preferred.
  • 2 years’ experience in Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering, with at least 1 year in Maintenance Planning preferred.
  • Fully conversant with aircraft systems, power plants, and components.
  • Thorough knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering functions, regulatory requirements, and documentation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project and Office; knowledge of CATS is an advantage.
  • Complete INDOC and aircraft FAM (or equivalent) training.
  • Knowledge of GMM and CAMP requirements.
  • Experience with CRJ products is preferred.
  • Attention to detail, organized, and capable of multi-tasking.
  • Positive attitude towards aircraft safety and efficiency.
  • Knowledge of Aircraft Engine Systems and operation.
  • Understanding of modern Airworthiness and Maintenance Planning methods, preferred.
  • Able to follow instructions accurately and work independently.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments.
  • High confidentiality in work.
  • Must relocate to the St. Louis area.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage long-term planning activities related to aircraft fleet changes, including acquisitions, lease returns, painting, and modifications.
  • Forecast and develop projections for fleet maintenance operations, including scheduled checks and compliance tasks.
  • Plan for scheduled engine and landing gear removals, coordinating with maintenance providers and vendors.
  • Coordinate routing for scheduled Heavy Maintenance Checks (HMC) and other workload planning.
  • Schedule boroscopes, inspections, and engine events.
  • Plan maintenance BLOCK packages to minimize aircraft downtime.
  • Work with Maintenance Managers to ensure adequate manpower and spares.
  • Maintain and update CATS based on recent work.
  • Prepare reports on aircraft scheduled out of service.
