The University of Utah UIT seeks a Technical Product Training Manager to lead technology training, knowledge management, and support services for digital learning technologies. The role directs training program design, development, delivery, and evaluation, ensuring resources remain current and aligned with campus needs.

It also oversees staff, supports AI adoption in teaching, and collaborates on accessibility and learning-tool integrations across Canvas, Kaltura, Zoom, and Microsoft 365.

Formación

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 6+ years of directly related work experience for a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience leading technology-training or professional-development programs.
• Experience supervising staff and managing technology-support operations.
• Experience in higher-education environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technology-training initiatives for faculty, staff, employees, and other customers.
• Oversee design, development, delivery, and evaluation of training programs and plans.
• Oversee workshops, webinars, demonstrations, and self-service learning opportunities covering Canvas and learning technologies.
• Develop programs that help faculty use AI responsibly in teaching and productivity workflows.
• Supervise technology-training and support staff and coordinate help desk, Canvas, and course-support services.
• Collaborate with technical teams, teaching and learning partners, and leadership on strategic initiatives.
• Lead initiatives advancing digital learning and technology-enabled teaching practices.
