Job summary

Construction Specialties, Inc. is seeking a Product Technical Support Associate to help architects, contractors, customers, and sales reps with installation and product questions.

You will gather data, coordinate site startup activities, and communicate root causes for improvements, ensuring timely, accurate responses. This role requires a two-year degree in Business or Drafting or related field and ~2 years of related experience; you must travel about 15% to job sites and work closely with R&D,

Qualifications

• Prefer a 2 year degree in Business, Drafting or related field and 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to meet deadlines and pay attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers, architects, contractors, sales reps and internal departments.
• Willingness to travel 15%.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to answer installation and product related questions.
• Coordinate travel activities for job site installation startups and trouble shooting.
• Interact with R&D, manufacturing, drafting and customer service to obtain needed data for answers.
• Review pack slips and shop orders to determine discrepancies for no-charge orders.
• Log technical inquiries in the Tech Support Database daily.
• Act as liaison between front line customer problems and internal departments to determine root causes.
