Job description

Day AI is the AI-native system of record for customer relationships. The successor to CRM. It gives every person on a go-to-market team agents with standing roles, grounded in a shared memory of every call, email, and conversation the company has ever had, doing the work before anyone has to ask.

The market is fragmenting the old CRM monolith into a new set of agent-native categories — customer memory, agent platform, skills automation, analytics, knowledge management, and a developer surface. Day AI is the only company building every one of them and re-integrating them into one system already running in production. That re-integration is the moat.

The company was founded by Christopher O'Donnell, who built HubSpot's Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub, and Data Hub, the only product that has ever offered a credible alternative to Salesforce at scale. He has spent the three years since ChatGPT launched rebuilding it from scratch for the AI era.

We've raised a $20M Series A led by Sequoia. Hundreds of companies are already running their GTM teams agentically on Day AI. This is the future of how businesses keep track of and connect with customers.

Most support roles are about closing tickets. This one is about shaping a product that's still defining its category. You'll be on the front lines of Day AI, solving real problems for the founders and GTM teams betting their customer relationships on us, and feeding what you learn straight back into what we build next.

Your users are sophisticated. They've bought into the agent-era worldview and expect the system to deliver on it. Your job is to make sure it does — to get them unblocked fast, make them successful, and turn every conversation into a signal the product team can act on. You'll also own how we build support itself: the knowledge base, the workflows, the framework the next person ramps on.

This is an early role at a company with real product, real customers, and a category that's still being defined. The people who set the standard for user experience here will have shaped how Day AI shows up for everyone who touches it.

What you will do
  • Own user problems end to end, from first message through resolution, escalating to engineering cleanly when you need to
  • Become a Day AI expert deep enough to solve issues we haven't seen before with speed and clarity
  • Improve the support stack: keep the knowledge base current, design automated workflows, and make the whole team operate better
  • Be the voice of the customer, feeding front-line insight into product direction continuously
  • Grow your scope as you build trust, both internally and in how we engage users and the community
Who we are looking for
  • You spot problems before they're pointed out and follow through without being asked
  • You use AI deeply and habitually, not experimentally, and you see where it makes you faster
  • You break down unfamiliar situations systematically and move fast to get people unblocked
  • You communicate warmly and precisely, whether it's a user reply, a bug report, or an internal doc
  • You test ideas, try new approaches, and aren't afraid to get it wrong the first time
  • You want the product and the people using it to win, and you don't need anyone to manufacture that drive for you
Background that maps well
  • Recently completed a bachelor's or master's degree and ready to grow into real responsibility fast
  • Experience in B2B SaaS support
  • Hands-on experience with CRMs, Claude, and similar AI tools
  • Time in an environment where you had to figure things out before the infrastructure was ready
Life at Day AI
  • Equity with meaningful ownership
  • Quarterly offsites (recent: Vegas, Charleston, Costa Rica, SF, Austin, Boston)
  • Flexible time off
  • A team that is kind, competitive, and genuinely obsessed with building something that matters
Why now

The agent-era worldview stopped being a prediction. It's consensus. The people using Day AI already believe the future looks like this — what they need is for the system to deliver on it every day. That's where you come in. The experience of using the product, and the speed at which users get value from it, is what turns belief into retention.

The companies building a shared customer memory foundation now compound on it every day. The ones that struggle to adopt fall behind. You'll be on the front line of making sure our customers land in the first group, at the start of the shift, backed by Sequoia, built by the person who architected HubSpot.
