Job summary

SolomonEdwards is seeking a dynamic Product Owner/Scrum Master for a hybrid PO/SM role in Charlotte, NC. You will own the product backlog, drive agile ceremonies, and collaborate with clients and developers to deliver high‑quality software.

The ideal candidate is technically fluent and comfortable writing SQL to validate product data, discuss requirements and trade-offs with clients, and guide the team through releases. On-site with up to 30% travel.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years in Product Owner, BA, or Scrum Master in Agile settings.
• 2+ years hands-on SQL (joins, filtering, aggregations, subqueries).
• Knowledge of relational data models and schemas.
• Proficient in Jira and Microsoft Office.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills.
• Experience in distributed, cross-cultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Write detailed user stories with clear, testable acceptance criteria.
• Use SQL to inform requirements, validate data, and support QA/UAT.
• Groom and prioritize backlog by business and client urgency.
• Facilitate Sprint Planning, Grooming, Daily Stand-Ups, Retrospectives, and Demos.
• Track sprint progress, team capacity, and remove blockers.
• Partner with developers on architecture, integrations, and technical constraints.
• Join client calls to gather requirements, present progress, and manage expectations.
• Support release planning and deployment coordination.
