Job summary

Genentech seeks a Technical Product Owner, RDT Lead – 3PD to drive the data ecosystem strategy and delivery. You will unify internal and external data streams into a scalable, compliant engine powering personalized healthcare experiences.

You will lead data lifecycle ownership, vendor onboarding, and end‑to‑end delivery across multiple teams, ensuring data quality, governance, and regulatory compliance for patient data environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Data/Analytics or related field; advanced degree or certifications preferred.
• 10+ years leading complex technical integrations and enterprise data products.
• Experience owning data ecosystems including vendor ingestion, data quality, governance, lineage, and enablement for analytics, AI/ML, and decisioning platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the 3PD strategy, roadmap, and backlog, translating business needs into scalable data capabilities and AI/ML enablement.
• Lead technical delivery across workstreams, managing scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and cross‑team handoffs.
• Oversee data acquisition, ingestion, processing, storage, and consumption to support end‑user and downstream systems.
• Drive upstream and downstream integrations, making patient data available for operations, analytics, reporting, AI/ML, and decisioning platforms.
• Embed governance, privacy, consent, security, and regulatory requirements into product design and delivery.
