Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. seeks a Product Owner - Technical for a 06+ months contract in Louisville, KY. This role focuses on internal developer platforms, including CI/CD, infrastructure, observability, and automation tools.

You will own the product backlog, write epics and acceptance criteria, and report on adoption and efficiency metrics. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in product management or technical ownership, ~3 years on technical products, and a strong collaboration with engineering

Qualifications

1–2 years of product management or technical product ownership.
~3 years of experience on technical products for engineers/IT teams.
Experience owning a product backlog in Agile.
Experience with user research and requirements gathering.
Familiarity with product metrics and adoption measurement.
Bachelor's degree in any field (technical preferred).
Experience with developer tools or internal platforms.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
Familiarity with automation and self-service tooling.
Tech background or collaboration with engineers.

Responsibilities

Support the product roadmap for internal developer platforms, including CI/CD and automation tools.
Own and manage the product backlog and translate needs into epics and user stories.
Track product metrics and report adoption, satisfaction, and efficiency.
Communicate updates and prioritization to cross-functional stakeholders.
Gather feedback from engineering teams via interviews and surveys.
Collaborate with SRE, DevOps, and Solutions Architecture teams.
Contribute to self-service and automation initiatives to reduce manual work.
