Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group in Miami seeks a Product Owner for the Travel Platforms Team. This full-time role blends business insight with technical delivery, bridging stakeholders, product, and engineering to build scalable automation and data initiatives.

As an IC in Agile pods you refine requirements, write user stories, prioritize backlogs, and own end-to-end delivery of data-driven solutions, APIs with FastAPI, and Python-based automation to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

5+ years in Technical Product Management or related engineering roles.
Proven experience in Agile environments.
Ability to write clear user stories and drive backlog refinement.

Responsibilities

Design and develop automation workflows and tools using Python.
Build data pipelines and transformations using Pandas and DuckDB.
Develop lightweight APIs and services using FastAPI.
Optimize data processing and performance for large datasets.
Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to refine requirements.
Convert business needs into user stories and specifications.
Drive clarity in ambiguous problem statements and ensure implementation-readiness.
Act as an IC within Agile PODs and participate in sprint rituals.
Prioritize work based on value and feasibility; own end-to-end delivery.
Work with structured/unstructured data to derive insights and automation opportunities.
Design scalable solutions aligned with platform architecture.
