Job summary
Royal Caribbean Group is seeking an IT Product Owner for the Travel Platforms Team in a full-time role reporting to the Senior Director, Product. You will bridge business, product, and engineering to deliver scalable automation and data solutions.
You will partner with stakeholders to refine requirements, drive Agile delivery in PODs, and build lightweight APIs using FastAPI, Python, Pandas and DuckDB. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Technical Product Management or Software Engineering with
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Technical Product Management / Technical Lead roles or Software Engineering with strong product exposure.
- Proven experience working in Agile environments.
- Experience building APIs using FastAPI.
- Strong understanding of data processing pipelines, performance optimization, debugging and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to operate independently as an IC.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation workflows and tools using Python.
- Build data pipelines and transformations using Pandas and DuckDB.
- Develop lightweight APIs and services using FastAPI.
- Work with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
- Drive end-to-end delivery of solutions within Agile PODs.
