Job summary
Takeda in Cambridge, MA seeks a Business Lead for AI-native Discovery Automation & Robotics to own the scientific vision, product strategy, and adoption of a next-generation laboratory orchestration platform that runs 24/7 in drug discovery.
You will partner with automation engineers, platform scientists, medicinal chemists, and external partners to shape a unified lab operating layer, translating laboratory needs into AI-enabled workflows and measurable business value.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in engineering, chemistry, biology, or related field with 10+ years in pharma/biotech R&D.
- Proven ownership of a product, platform, or capability end to end.
- Strong ability to set strategic direction and align cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Own and refine strategic vision for AI-native Discovery Automation & Robotics.
- Define orchestration engine and drive adoption across research and operations.
- Collaborate with Labs of Tomorrow leadership to set roadmap and investments.
- Interface with internal customers and external partners to ensure value.
