Milestone Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Technical Product Operations Specialist for remote work on product operations and strategy, with a strong emphasis on SQL. This 5-month contract role requires coordinating multiple workstreams and delivering data-driven insights to guide product decisions.

You will write and optimize SQL, build dashboards, and use AI tools to accelerate analysis, while proactively managing risks and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve execution quality.

• General program management to identify opportunities and predict roadblocks through data analysis, strengthening cross-functional relationships.

Title: Technical Product Operations Specialist (product operations and strategy, SQL)

Location: Remote

Duration: 05-months contract

Must Have Skills:

8+ years in strategy/operations/program management — with a focus on technical product operations and proven ability to manage multiple workstreams independently.

Advanced SQL proficiency — CTEs, window functions, joins, and data transformations, combined with the critical thinking to leverage data for decision-making.

AI & tooling fluency — experience with AI agents/assisted workflows and expert-level Google Workspace (especially Sheets), with the adaptability to pick up new tools quickly.

Nice to Have Skills:

AI-assisted development & prototyping — comfortable with vibe coding, low-code/no-code tools, and AI-assisted code generation in environments like VS Code.

Data visualization & pipeline knowledge — experience building dashboards (Unidash, Tableau, Looker) and familiarity with ETL/data infrastructure concepts.

Overall Responsibilities:

Support program execution strategy for multiple products and platforms – includes kickstarting 0 to 1 efforts, accelerating execution, and improving quality/outcomes for product objectives via programmatic and technical solutions

Write and optimize SQL queries to collect, transform, and analyze product data from various sources, identifying trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions

Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations (e.g., Unidash, Google Sheets) to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders and support real‑time decision-making

Leverage AI Agents and tools (e.g., client’s Worldclass Tooling) to accelerate data analysis, automate repetitive tasks, and prototype solutions

Proactively identify program risks, develop data‑backed mitigation plans, and communicate rationale and updates clearly across cross‑functional teams

General program management to identify opportunities and predict roadblocks through data analysis, strengthen cross‑functional relationships, and execute on plans with technical rigor
