Job summary

Jobvite, Inc. in Plano, TX is seeking a Technical Product Manager (TPM) to translate customer needs into clear system requirements across HW/FW/SW/cloud.

You will own intake and prioritization for the R&D pipeline and work with Marketing and cross-functional teams to deliver with predictable cadence. The role requires 3–5 years in systems engineering or technical product management, strong Jira and PLM proficiency, and a focus on traceability, verification, and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related technical discipline required.
• 3-5 years in systems engineering, technical product management, V&V, software/hardware engineering, or technical program leadership.
• Demonstrated experience translating user needs into system/sub-system requirements and collaborating with engineering teams to deliver verified outcomes.
• Proficiency with Jira for backlog management and with PLM for requirements + traceability artifacts management.

Responsibilities

• A. Product Definition Partnership (Shared with Marketing): co-own product definition, translate needs into requirements and acceptance criteria.
• B. System & Sub-system Requirements Ownership: author and maintain requirements with traceability across mechanical, electrical, firmware, software, connectivity, and cloud.
• C. Traceability & Verification Alignment: maintain bidirectional traceability and align verification plans with requirement intent.
• D. Technical Tradeoffs, Risks & Delivery Enablement: lead architecture tradeoffs, document decisions, manage risks and dependencies.
