Job summary

Rainbow, a growing insurtech in San Francisco, is hiring its first Technical Product Manager to join the Product organization. This hybrid role places you at the intersection of Engineering, Underwriting, Sales and Claims, owning end-to-end initiatives from discovery through delivery and iteration, while shaping how product operates as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Product management experience is preferred, with strong data-driven decision making.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to query relational databases independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholders and teams.

Responsibilities

• Own product initiatives end-to-end from discovery to delivery.
• Develop deep understanding of Rainbow's products, data models and workflows.
• Collaborate with Engineering to balance customer needs, business priorities and constraints.
• Conduct continuous product discovery with agents, brokers and internal teams.
• Write clear product requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with Engineering on design and implementation of solutions.
• Coordinate with Underwriting, Sales, Service and Claims as needed.
• After launch, measure results and iterate based on feedback.
