First Databank, Inc. (FDB) is seeking a Technical Product Manager to operate at the intersection of product strategy, architecture, and engineering execution. The role is based in Carmel, IN with a hybrid model requiring onsite presence at least three days per week.

You will translate strategic direction into architectural options and drive alignment across Product, Engineering, and executive stakeholders. This highly technical role emphasizes turning complex constraints into business tradeoffs,

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software/architecture leadership roles.
• Experience shaping architectural decisions for production systems at scale.
• Experience working with product management and executive stakeholders.
• Ability to drive alignment across orgs on complex technical decisions.
• Hands-on experience using GenAI tools to accelerate delivery and improve outcomes.
• Senior IC roles like Staff/Principal/Architect preferred.
• Familiarity with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud; healthcare tech exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise on architectural feasibility, scalability, integration strategy, and technology tradeoffs for major initiatives.
• Translate product vision into technical design decisions and evaluation frameworks.
• Define architectural patterns, API strategies, and platform standards to enable scalable execution.
• Collaborate with Product leadership during roadmapping to identify constraints and modernization opportunities.
• Lead technical due diligence for third‑party platforms, APIs, and vendors.
• Evaluate emerging tech (AI/ML, cloud) and recommend strategic adoption.
• Quantify debt and tradeoffs in business terms (cost, risk, delivery velocity).
• Create executive-ready docs and presentations conveying complex concepts.
