Job summary

CHG Healthcare in Salt Lake City seeks a Technical Product Manager to lead strategy and execution for our workflow orchestration platform. You will write detailed technical specifications and work embedded with engineering teams to drive impactful product decisions.

You combine customer insight with technical fluency, translate complex problems into concrete actions, and guide delivery from concept to ship. A BS in a relevant field and 5+ years of product management are preferred.

Qualifications

BS preferred in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, engineering, business) but relevant professional experience accepted.
5+ years of experience in product management with demonstrated technical depth.
Experience authoring technical specifications or contributing to engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

Engage with engineering groups to research needs and extend the orchestration platform.
Author and own detailed technical specifications including system context, data flows, and acceptance criteria.
Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap grounded in customer research and business goals.
Write prototypes and lightweight automation to validate assumptions and accelerate decisions.
Partner with engineering as an embedded team member in design reviews and sprint planning.
Translate technical complexity into narratives for business stakeholders and engineers.
Break large initiatives into shipable increments with early risk detection.
Conduct customer research and competitive analyses to inform direction.
