Brooksource is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead Finance Data & Analytics initiatives in Indianapolis. This role sits at the intersection of Finance, Data Engineering, and Analytics, ensuring data products are delivered, usable, and aligned to business outcomes.

You will own execution of finance data products, manage ETL pipelines, and drive analytics enablement with Power BI and reporting models, while coordinating across finance, engineering, and analytics teams.

Job Title: Technical Product Manager – Finance Data & Analytics

Job Location: Indianapolis, IN — Hybrid (4 days/week on-site)

Job Type: 12-month contract with high potential for extension

Job Pay: 75-85 hourly

Overview

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead execution and enablement of Finance Data & Analytics initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of Finance, Data Engineering, and Analytics and is responsible for ensuring finance data products are delivered, usable, and aligned to business outcomes. The ideal candidate combines strong finance data fluency with product execution discipline — someone comfortable discussing ETL architecture with engineers while also understanding value realization and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Data Product Ownership

• Own execution of finance data products from source-to-analytics.
• Translate finance business requirements into clear technical specifications.
• Maintain roadmaps, backlogs, and delivery milestones across multiple workstreams.
• Define KPIs for data quality, availability, and business adoption.

Data Platform Coordination

• Partner with engineering teams managing extraction from enterprise and non-enterprise source systems.
• Oversee ETL pipelines and ingestion into enterprise data lake environments.
• Collaborate on orchestration and transformation processes.
• Ensure semantic layers and downstream analytics models support finance reporting needs.

Analytics & Automation Enablement

• Drive analytics transformation initiatives within Finance.
• Support automation uses cases, including reconciliation, review, validation, and testing automation.
• Ensure finance stakeholders can effectively consume data products through Power BI, dashboards, and reporting models.
• Improve manual reporting processes through scalable data solutions.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Facilitate alignment across Finance, Data Engineering, Architecture, and Analytics teams.
• Identify and manage technical dependencies and delivery risks.
• Provide structured updates and executive-ready materials to senior stakeholders.
• Support Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and PI planning.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Technical Product Management, Data Product Management, or Finance Data Delivery.
• Strong understanding of ETL pipelines, data lakes, and analytics enablement.
• Ability to translate between finance business language and technical data architecture.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise modernization or transformation programs.
• Exposure to enterprise cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, AWS, or Azure.
• Background in consulting or large enterprise transformation programs.
• Experience in regulated finance environments, including SOX or audit-sensitive reporting.
