Job summary

Mariana Minerals is seeking a Technical Product Manager to own the data platform, analytics, and data science tooling. You will align stakeholders, set direction across the data org, and drive cohesive ownership for data-driven decisions.

The role blends exploration with structured delivery in a hybrid Pioneer/Settler environment. You will prioritize ruthlessly, write specs, and ensure engineers can stay heads-down on high-impact work while expanding data capabilities and AI-enabled workflows

Qualifications

4–8+ years in technical product management, data platform or analytics product roles.
Ability to lead in a highly technical setting and build credibility with engineers.
Depth in data infrastructure and analytics to talk credibly with data teams.
Fluency with LLM/foundation-model landscape and agentic approaches.
Track record turning ambiguity into structured outcomes and roadmaps.
Hands-on prototyping ability to deliver PoCs with stakeholders.
Strong prioritization and transparent tradeoffs.
Excellent written and verbal communication across audiences.

Responsibilities

Own the roadmap for the data platform, analytics, and data science tooling — decide what to build and why.
Write specs, KPIs, and success metrics for scope and delivery.
Prioritize and align stakeholders so engineers focus on core technical work.
Make build-vs-buy decisions for BI and analytics tooling.
Define where AI and agentic workflows fit and drive adoption.
Decide which new data streams to integrate and set data quality standards.
Lead initial prototypes with stakeholders and translate into a production roadmap.
