Job summary

Society for Science in Washington, DC seeks a Technical Product Manager to drive end-to-end development of developer-focused products, AI/ML pipelines, and API-driven platforms. You will lead cross-functional teams, shape architecture, and guide product strategy with the CTO.

Responsibilities span lifecycle management, technical liaison, data analytics, and UAT, with hybrid work and occasional travel. Strong SDLC, Agile, and cloud security experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years as Technical Product Manager or similar role overseeing software projects.
• Proven Agile experience (Scrum, Kanban) and use of JIRA/Confluence.
• Strong SDLC, architecture, API integration, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Experience with data platforms, LLMs, AI agents, ML principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project lifecycle, defining scope, timelines, resources, and delivery.
• Act as technical liaison between stakeholders and development teams.
• Provide SME on system architecture, evaluations, and integration requirements.
• Query databases with SQL and use data analytics for reports and metrics.
• Define and manage the product roadmap based on complexity and value.
• Collaborate with data teams, vendors, developers, and UX/UI designers.
