Job summary

Agile Resources, Inc. is seeking a Technical Product Lead for SAP Sales & O2C to shape the SAP Center of Excellence. Remote with up to 25% travel, salary $150k–$170k, and a focus on strategy, roadmap, and delivery of a customized SAP Sales environment.

Ideal candidates will bring 8+ years in technical product management, deep SAP SD/O2C experience, and a proven ability to translate business needs into actionable product strategies across planning, design, and delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager at lead, principal, or director level.
• Proven experience leading product roadmaps from planning to delivery.
• Strong SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and/or SAP Order-to-Cash (O2C) experience.
• Strong understanding of SAP Sales and O2C processes in complex or customized environments.
• Technical aptitude to work with architects and development teams without being the architect.
• Experience with collaborating with Business Process Owners and stakeholders to prioritize enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year product vision and roadmap for SAP Sales, SD, and O2C.
• Partner with the Sales/O2C owner to define priorities, ROI, and roadmap initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to expand and modernize SAP Sales capabilities.
• Improve complex SAP-based processes including billing, pricing, and O2C workflows.
• Translate business needs into technical product strategies, features, and user stories.
• Manage backlog based on value, ROI, cash flow, and revenue protection.
• Stay involved through planning, design, development, testing, and delivery.
• Advocate for a user-friendly SAP Sales experience balancing needs and IT standards.
• Partner with SAP Architects to align with Clean Core principles.
• Support change management, training, and user adoption for new capabilities.

Our client in the telecommunications infrastructure industry is looking for a Technical Product Lead focused on SAP Sales & Order-to-Cash to join their team! This is a high-impact opportunity to help shape an evolving SAP Center of Excellence while leading the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of a highly customized SAP Sales environment.

Location: Remote plus up to 25% travel

Pay: $150,000 - $170,000

Here is what you will be doing:

• Own and influence the multi-year product vision and roadmap for SAP Sales, SD, and Order-to-Cash.
• Partner closely with the Sales/O2C Business Process Owner to define priorities, enhancements, ROI, process improvements, and roadmap initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to expand, modernize, and digitize existing SAP Sales capabilities.
• Help improve complex construction-related processes including milestone billing, time and materials, retention tracking, pricing, and Order-to-Cash workflows.
• Translate business needs into technical product strategies, features, user stories, and delivery priorities.
• Manage and prioritize the development backlog based on business value, ROI, efficiency, cash flow, and revenue protection.
• Stay involved throughout planning, design, development, testing, and delivery to ensure solutions meet business expectations.
• Advocate for a user-friendly SAP Sales experience while balancing business needs, SAP capabilities, and IT standards.
• Partner with SAP Architects to identify technical concerns and ensure solutions align with Clean Core principles.
• Support change management, training, communications, and user adoption for new capabilities.

Here is what our ideal candidate has:

• 8+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager at the lead, principal, or director level.
• Extensive experience leading the product roadmap from planning to delivery.
• Strong experience with SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and/or SAP Order-to-Cash (O2C) is required.
• Strong understanding of SAP Sales and O2C processes, particularly in complex or customized environments.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to work effectively with architects and development teams without needing to be the architect.
• Experience working with Business Process Owners and business stakeholders to prioritize enhancements and measure value.
• Experience with Agile development, backlog management, and delivery processes.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and Clean Core principles is preferred.
