Job summary

Roche in the United States is seeking a Technical Product Lead to own the product lifecycle end-to-end, ensuring quality, supply, compliance, and cost control. You will oversee the squad’s budget (OPEX/CAPEX) and drive performance while managing production risks and changes.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration with suppliers, IPM, GSC and other functions, developing capacity plans and business cases for investments while traveling as needed to support external manufacturing networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field (Engineering, Natural Science, or Business Administration).
• 1–3 years of product leadership experience, ideally in a matrixed environment.
• Proven track record in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) including quality, supply, compliance and cost management.
• Experience in External Manufacturing, including day-to-day supplier interaction and managing production risks/issues.
• Experience in Strategy and Capacity Planning, including multi-year plans and business-case calculations.
• Experience navigating IVD/medical device environments with regulatory and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete accountability for the assigned product across its lifecycle (quality, supply, compliance, cost, risk management).
• Manage changes, complaints, deviations, and production assets, including equipment and spare parts.
• Develop and implement the product-wide production capacity plan in line with strategy and investments.
• Manage the SMC cost account, including budget planning and identifying potential savings.
• Chair the Squad, lead prioritization, resource allocation and conflict resolution.
• Influence key internal and external stakeholders to align on forecasts and performance.
