Job summary

Two Six Technologies in Arlington, Virginia, is seeking a Technical Product Engineering Lead to own the end-to-end technical vision for a hardware security product. You will lead architecture across hardware, FPGA, embedded firmware, and software while remaining hands-on with the team.

You will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and transition prototypes to scalable production. The role requires deep technical leadership and collaboration with stakeholders in national security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or related technical domain.
• 7+ years of multi-discipline engineering leadership experience.
• Experience with embedded Linux and Yocto-based build systems.
• Linux kernel development experience and driver work.
• Familiarity with cryptographic algorithms and secure systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical team lead for hardware, FPGA, embedded firmware, and software.
• Own end-to-end system architecture and technical roadmap.
• Mentor engineering team members and drive architectural decisions.
• Mature R&D concepts into fieldable solutions.
• Develop and implement testing strategies, unit/integration tests, and HW‑in‑loop regimens.
• Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable designs.
