Job summary

ICF is seeking a Technical Product Lead (Release Train Engineer- style) to accelerate a federal data modernization platform. The role emphasizes roadmap and backlog governance, release alignment, and cross-team coordination within a cloud-enabled analytics environment.

Preference for candidates in the Washington DC metro area with remote work flexibility. The position is contingent on contract award and may require occasional onsite client meetings in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract requirements.
Candidate must reside in the U.S. and work in the U.S.
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4 years of alternative experience.

Responsibilities

Maintains the operating system that connects roadmap, backlog, delivery plans, dependency logs, decision tracking, and cross-team coordination.
Ensures teams follow backlog standards, readiness criteria, planning calendars, and reporting rhythms.
Collaborates with Agile Delivery Managers, Domain Product Managers, Functional Leads, and the Program Manager to keep risks and dependencies visible.
Applies product operations, integrated planning, dependency management, and dashboards to support role delivery.
Coordinates with product, engineering, security, governance, quality, and customer stakeholders as required.
Documents work products, decisions, risks, and delivery evidence for traceability.
