Job summary

ICF's Digital Modernization Division is seeking a Technical Product Manager to support a large federal agency’s data and analytics modernization effort. The role may also be viewed as Release Train Engineer and focuses on maintaining the operating system that links roadmaps, backlogs, delivery plans, dependencies, and cross-team coordination.

Remote work is available with a strong preference for candidates in the Washington DC area and occasional on-site meetings in DC.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or four additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
6+ years of relevant experience aligned to the role responsibilities.
Experience leading Agile delivery, product operations, or Release Train Engineer functions.

Responsibilities

Maintains the operating system connecting roadmap, backlog, delivery plans, dependency logs, and release alignment.
Ensures standard backlog practices, planning calendars, and reporting rhythms.
Collaborates with Agile Delivery Managers, Domain Product Managers, Functional Leads, and Program Manager to keep risks and delivery status visible.
Applies product operations, integrated planning, dependency management, dashboards, and release planning to support delivery.
Collaborates with product, engineering, security, governance, and customer-facing stakeholders as required.
Documents work products, decisions, risks, and delivery evidence for traceability.
