Clorox Company seeks a Technical Process Operator (Zipper) in Amherst, VA to control, operate, and maintain high-speed bag making lines. You will perform quality checks, troubleshoot equipment, and participate in preventive maintenance to ensure top quality and efficiency.

The role requires manual dexterity, teamwork, and strict safety adherence. You will rotate 12-hour shifts (days/nights) and earn $24.30/hour with a $1.50 shift differential, with on-site work at our Amherst facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.
• Able to perform routine mechanical tasks and minor repairs.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform frequent quality checks on finished bags.
• Process daily loose scrap materials.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs.
• Perform maintenance tasks to remove deposits from equipment.
• Enter quality and production data into computer systems.
• Operate packaging equipment and stack pallets.
