Job summary

A Technology Business Systems Consultant role focusing on Technical Portfolio Management is available in a hybrid setup across multiple cities, including Chandler, AZ. The position drives end-to-end SOW processes, capacity planning, intake, and forecast budgeting for infrastructure initiatives.

In this contract role, you will present to executives, manage vendor budgets, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to align on priorities and risks.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in portfolio/program management within an infrastructure or IT organization.
• Proven ability to manage SOWs, vendor relationships, and infrastructure budgets.
• Experience with capacity planning, intake processes, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full Statement of Work (SOW) lifecycle for infrastructure and infrastructure vendors, including scoping, budgeting, and tracking time against SOW commitments.
• Lead Technical Portfolio Management activities, including capacity planning, intake calls, and change management across the portfolio.
• Maintain and reconcile time tracking within the Jira time system to ensure accurate resource allocation and reporting.
• Support budget and forecast planning, providing visibility into spend, pipeline, and variance for infrastructure initiatives.
• Prepare executive-level deliverables, including PowerPoint presentations and SharePoint sites, to communicate portfolio status, forecasts, and decisions.
• Partner effectively with the manager's team and other executives, demonstrating the confidence and "backbone" to challenge assumptions, raise risks, and drive alignment.
