Job summary

Pinecone, based in New York, seeks a Technical PMM to help developers and ML teams understand Pinecone capabilities. You will lead GTM strategy, product launches, and enablement across Product, Sales, Developer Relations, and Marketing to demonstrate value of AI-powered vector databases.

You will craft technically accurate messaging, develop customer case studies, and collaborate on blogs and social content to accelerate adoption in enterprise and developer communities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product marketing, ideally at a developer-focused or AI/ML infrastructure company.
• Strong technical acumen with hands-on experience in AI, ML, vector search, cloud computing, or databases.
• Proven track record in launching technical products and driving adoption in enterprise and developer communities.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging for different audiences.
• Experience in developer marketing or working directly with AI/ML practitioners.
• Familiarity with vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or search technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and AI model deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop launch plans for product releases and align with product teams.
• Lead cross-functional launch teams (documentation, communications, developer relations, product, growth marketing).
• Measure customer impact and drive adoption post-launch.
• Craft messaging for AI-powered search and retrieval solutions.
• Build enterprise and developer narratives that differentiate Pinecone from competitors.
• Develop positioning for new product capabilities.
• Engage with customers to develop case studies with metrics and insights.
• Conduct customer interviews to refine messaging and identify value drivers.
• Develop internal and external enablement materials and GTM sessions.
• Collaborate with marketing to produce social posts, blogs, and technical content.
