Job summary

Piper Companies seeks a Technical Project Manager to support complex, high-visibility hardware development programs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment near Harrisburg, PA. The role reports to Program Managers and will coordinate across engineering, manufacturing and suppliers to drive execution and readiness for production.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in project coordination or management in hardware, strong cross-team communication, and willingness to travel 50–60% with PMP

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience coordinating or managing manufacturing hardware projects.
• Ability to perform in fast-paced, unstructured, high-pressure environments with shifting priorities.
• Proven ability to communicate across technical teams and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, budgeting, and execution of complex hardware development projects.
• Act as a bridge between internal teams and Program Managers for alignment on schedules and deliverables.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to keep programs on track.
• Monitor scope, timelines, and financials; escalate risks and delays as needed.
• Apply Design for Manufacturability principles and support readiness for production and capacity planning.
