Job summary

SiFly is seeking its first Technical Project Manager to bring structure and momentum to software development across the company. You will work with cloud and embedded teams across Europe and the US, keep priorities clear, dependencies visible, and ensure development efforts stay on schedule.

This hands-on role requires thriving in ambiguity; you’ll build the project management playbook, run standups, and provide leadership with a clear view of what’s on track and what needs attention.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a technical project manager for software, spanning cloud/backend and embedded/firmware.
• Track record of running standups and delivering across distributed, multi‑time‑zone teams.
• Strong technical fluency to earn engineers’ trust and understand cross-stack tradeoffs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to juggle many efforts.
• Comfort with ambiguity and bias toward action; build process from scratch when needed.
• Overlap with European hours to keep teams in sync.
• First-principles thinking to know when to add structure and when to step back.

Responsibilities

• Run daily and weekly standups with software teams across Europe and the US.
• Manage cloud and embedded software priorities, milestones, and risks.
• Convert high-level goals into sequenced development plans and keep them current.
• Unblock cross‑team dependencies before they become bottlenecks.
• Provide leadership with a clear picture of status, tradeoffs, and timelines.
• Establish lightweight planning and tracking processes suitable for a fast-moving team.
• Coordinate releases and integration with Software, Firmware, Electrical, and Test teams.
• Keep distributed teams connected, aligned, and moving forward.
