Job summary

Koch Finishing Systems in Caledonia, Michigan, is seeking a Technical Parts and Service Representative to support customers using our plating and anodizing equipment. This inside sales and customer service role focuses on parts, service, and technical support with no sales quotas.

The position requires 3+ years in related roles, a degree or equivalent experience, and strong communication skills. On-site duty with travel occasional. Hands-on training provided for plating or anodizing background.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in parts, service, or inside sales.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the main contact for calls and emails about parts, pricing, delivery, and service needs.
• Build long-term relationships with existing customers.
• Reconnect with past customers to learn current parts and service needs.
• Prepare work orders and process parts orders in our ERP system.
• Provide first-line troubleshooting and help resolve customer issues.
• Help customers plan ahead for spare parts and replacements.
• Prepare estimates for parts and service contracts with support from engineering.
• Recommend parts and service solutions that add value for customers.
• Coordinate with vendors on products, pricing, and availability.
• Coordinate with sales, engineering, service, and purchasing to keep customers' needs on track.
