Responsibilities

$ 22- $28/hour based on experience | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM-4:30 PM

Build quality products with your painting expertise! We are looking for an experienced Technical Painter to join our team. This is a hands-on painting position focused on wet-coat painting, paint preparation, booth maintenance, and quality control. If you have experience painting in a professional booth environment and take pride in producing high-quality finishes, we'd like to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Apply wet-coat paint in a professional paint booth environment
• Mix paint accurately according to required proportions
• Maintain the paint booth, including cleaning and replacing filters
• Perform adhesion and other quality testing
• Identify causes of paint application issues and correct quality concerns
• Clean products using a wash rack and determine when products are ready for painting
• Paint aluminum products and other materials
• Follow established painting procedures, instructions, and quality standards
• Learn and follow processes and procedures
• Use computer systems as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a wet-coat painting environment preferred
• Experience painting in a booth is a plus
• Ability to properly mix paint
• Knowledge of Sherwin-Williams paint systems or equivalent preferred
• Understanding of paint adhesion and quality standards
• Experience painting aluminum is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow written instructions and processes
• Comfortable using a computer
• High school diploma or equivalent required
