Remedy Staffing in Carlisle is seeking a 3rd Shift Industrial Painter for a temporary-to-hire opportunity. The role runs 6:00pm–6:00am (Mon-Thu) with occasional Fridays, paying $22.00-$25.00 per hour DOE plus shift differential.

The position involves priming parts, spray painting, and maintaining paint equipment. Candidates must have 12+ months of industrial painting experience and pass a respirator fit test. This hands-on role requires lifting up to 75 lbs and strong attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Priming of all different sizes and shapes per specs; assist with related shop tasks.
• Perform daily maintenance routines on paint equipment.
• Identify and mask areas not to be painted.
• Use proper paint application procedures.
• Inspect paint job in progress for quality issues.
• Clean paint booth and lights; change filters.
• Coordinate flow of and complete necessary paperwork.
• Perform quality checks including visual and electronic mill testing.
• Organize and maintain paint room; assist with material handling.

3rd Shift Industrial Painter

This position is a temporary-to-hire opportunity located in Carlisle.

Pay $22.00-$25.00 / hour (DOE) + Shift Differential

Hours 6:00pm-6:00am (Monday-Thursday) Occasional Fridays.

Duties:

• Priming of all different sizes and shape of materials per AISC specs. When not in paint booth working in shop doing odd jobs drilling holes, grinding and helping where needed.
• Perform daily maintenance routines on paint equipment.
• Identify and mask areas that are not to be painted.
• Use proper paint application procedures.
• Inspect paint job in progress for quality problems, such as runs and missed areas.
• Clean paint booth and lights and change filters.
• Organize and maintain paint room.
• Coordinate flow of and complete necessary paperwork.
• Perform quality checks including visual and electronic mill testing.
• Clean and prime material, Assist with material handling.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 12 month industrial painting (automotive or parts) experience.
• Required to wear a respirator, must be able to pass a medical qualification and a respirator fit test.
• Must be able to use a sprayer and be able to work in a paint booth Ability to use hand and/or power tools and equipment
• Must know how to operate a Lull, Skid Loader and Fork Lift Attention to detail Strong communication skills.
• Applicants must be able to walk and stand on feet for extended period of time, lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs, crawl on hands and knees, climb a ladder and be able to work long hours.

Auto body paint experience is great!
