Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist located in the Atlanta area to support the sales organization with deep technical expertise across IPG’s packaging solutions, including shrink films, stretch films, protective packaging, and related equipment.

The role partners with sales, engineering, R&D, operations, and customers to drive revenue, deliver value, and ensure optimal product performance in various market applications. Field-based with significant travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business or technical-related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 2–4+ years in technical sales, application engineering, or packaging operations.
• Ability to present technical concepts to non-technical people.
• Strong problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain expert-level knowledge of IPG products and packaging technologies.
• Communicate product features, capabilities, and value to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Partner with sales and cross-functional teams to identify customer needs and develop solutions.
• Participate in customer meetings to provide technical guidance on product applications.
