In this role, you will partner with Google Data Center development teams, hardware operations, network infrastructure, and third-party data center vendors to focus on operability, maintainability, and reliability. Our architecture supports the core of Google's services, and we are proud to engineer and rebuild systems to ensure optimal performance. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges depend on role, level, location, skills, experience, and education. Responsibilities
  • Test, validate, improve, and certify new processes and procedures for critical equipment operation in data centers.
  • Perform compliance activities across global data centers, analyzing results and ensuring adherence to project, schedule, and design standards.
  • Monitor data center systems operations, control site activities to minimize risk, and ensure effective response to excursions.
  • Ensure global compliance with facility, maintenance, and standard programs, and improve these policies and programs.
  • Develop strategies to minimize operational costs, enhance efficiency, and reduce environmental impact, along with driving site-level initiatives.
