SOFTSWISS is seeking a Junior Technical Operations Manager to oversee payment workflows and ensure accurate transaction processing while enhancing client experience. You will combine technical expertise with operational oversight to optimize payments and resolve issues.

The role emphasizes collaboration with 2nd line, Finance, and Account Management, with focus on improving transaction reliability and payment method integrations. Fluency in English and Russian is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in Fintech/Payments industry in an Operations Manager or 2nd line tech-support role.
• Strong understanding of how Payment Systems operate.
• Solid knowledge of transaction flows and data movement.
• Foundational programming concepts (data types, operators, functions).

• Handle technical operations requests from first-line support regarding transactions and payment methods.
• Roll out client-specific customizations for payment methods on client websites.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to transactions and payment methods.
• Maintain and optimize the efficiency of payment systems.

• Analyze patterns in payment issues and provide reports.

Overview:

SOFTSWISS continues to expand the team and is looking for a Junior Technical Operations Manager. We need a true, experienced and accomplished professional who shares our culture and values

Purpose of the role:

You’ll combine technical expertise in payment systems with operational oversight to enhance client experience, ensure accurate transaction processing, and support the continuous optimization of payment workflows.

Key responsibilities:

• Handling technical operations requests from first line support about transactions issues and Payment Methods work
• Roll out a customization of new Clients Customization Payment Methods on the Client’s website
• Technical troubleshooting about transactions and Payment Methods
• Maintaining the efficiency of payment systems
• Interaction with payment systems
• Analysis and identification of patterns in problems with payments with subsequent reporting
• Interaction with related departments (2nd line, Finance, Account managers, B2С)

Required Experience:

• Experience in Fintech/Payments industry as an Operations Manager/B2B technical support (2nd line)
• Clear understanding of how the Payment System works
• Strong knowledge of transactions flow
• Knowledge of the basics of WEB architecture
• Higher or incomplete higher education, preference for graduates of technical universities
• English and Russian not lower than Upper Intermediate level
• Knowledge of the basics in programming (data types/basic operators/functions)

Nice to have:

• Experience with JIRA, Jenkins, Gitlab
• Experience with monitoring systems (ELK)
• Understanding of information and application security, SSH, and access credentials
