Role Overview

The Technical Operations Manager acts as a liaison between Business Development, Commercial Operations, clients, and CMTI by providing consultative support at project initiation and overseeing project execution. The role ensures timely communication and proper management of site work, supporting Business Development and external clients with technical leadership and expertise. This position serves as the lead for client development projects, collaborates on prioritization, communicates project status, and provides technical explanations to both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, the role is a member of the Site Leadership Team, representing Program Management.

Responsibilities

1. Provide technical leadership and support to align client needs with CMTI capabilities, serving as the primary contact for client projects.
2. Lead planning and customer service efforts to meet delivery goals, working closely with Operations on capacity and strategy.
3. Coordinate with departments such as Laboratory, Quality, Operations, and Warehouse to ensure process efficiency and safety compliance.
4. Manage and motivate the Technical & Customer Services & Planning teams, providing feedback and handling performance issues fairly.
5. Ensure compliance with CMTI Quality systems and cGMP standards, managing project timelines and client expectations.
6. Develop and monitor project metrics, analyze trends, and communicate insights for issue resolution.
7. Leverage expertise in manufacturing operations and micronization processes, collaborating with Business Development to drive revenue growth.
8. Ensure technical documentation reflects client specifications accurately.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in applied science.
• At least four years of project management experience, with GMP environment experience highly preferred.
• PMP or similar certification is a plus.
• Deep scientific knowledge in Micronization or related fields preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience motivating teams and leading change.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
