Position: Tech Operations Director (Remote - US)

We seek an experienced AI Operations Director to lead LLM and Gen AI data projects for enterprise clients. This role requires strategic thinking, client-facing skills, project management, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of the Gen AI landscape, especially LLMs and datasets. The ideal candidate will ensure successful execution of current engagements and define new use cases, working closely with clients to address their AI data challenges. Coding experience is highly desirable but not required. The candidate must work Eastern Time hours.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership: Manage the entire lifecycle of LLM data projects, from scoping and ideation to execution and delivery.
2. Project Oversight: Monitor milestones, ensure timelines and quality targets are met, and mitigate risks.
3. Team Management: Build, mentor, and lead operational teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
4. Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary contact for enterprise clients, building trusted, long-term relationships.
5. AI Insight and Thought Leadership: Stay updated with AI technology advancements.
6. Operational Excellence: Develop detailed plans, allocate resources, and optimize operational processes for scalability.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience managing complex client-facing operations projects.
• Experience building and managing teams.
• Strategic management consulting background.
• Strong understanding of large language models and AI technologies.
• Knowledge of the Gen AI landscape, data collection methodologies, and trends.
• Coding experience in one or more languages is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication and client-facing skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to think strategically and handle challenging scenarios.
• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
