Visionary Square is looking for a technically minded marketing professional to help build, manage, and optimize the technology and digital systems that support our marketing strategy.
This role is heavily focused on HubSpot and marketing technology, while also supporting website development, paid advertising, competitive intelligence, analytics, SEO, AEO, and GEO.
You’ll work closely with the marketing team to turn marketing objectives into effective technical solutions. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys learning new tools, solving technical problems, working with data, and finding better ways to use technology to accomplish marketing goals.
How You’ll Spend Your Time
HubSpot & Marketing Technology – 50%
- Serve as a technical resource and power user for the marketing team’s technology ecosystem, with a primary focus on HubSpot.
- Build, manage, and optimize workflows, automation, forms, properties, smart content, personalization, reporting, and AI tools within HubSpot.
- Explore emerging HubSpot capabilities and other marketing technologies to identify opportunities to improve processes and the advisor experience.
- Develop personalized and dynamic experiences within the advisor portal based on advisor attributes, behaviors, and other relevant data.
- Manage and optimize integrations across platforms, ensuring accurate and reliable data flow between systems such as HubSpot, ON24, Box, website platforms, email marketing platforms, and other tools.
Analytics, SEO & Digital Optimization – 15%
- Monitor website and digital performance and use data to identify opportunities to improve traffic, search visibility, engagement, and conversions.
- Conduct keyword and search-intent research and develop recommendations for SEO, AEO, and GEO.
- Conduct SEO audits and implement improvements related to site structure, metadata, internal linking, structured data, and other technical elements.
- Stay current on changes in search behavior, AI search, and emerging digital optimization strategies.
Paid Advertising – 15%
- Set up, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across relevant platforms.
- Build campaign audiences, landing pages, tracking, UTM parameters, and conversion paths.
- Monitor campaign performance and use data to recommend improvements to targeting, spend, creative, and campaign strategy.
- Test new advertising platforms and opportunities as appropriate.
Website & Landing Page Development – 10%
- Build and maintain websites, landing pages, forms, and other digital experiences based on designs and requirements from the marketing team.
- Develop pages using HubSpot CMS, WordPress, Showit, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
- Manage website functionality, tracking, redirects, integrations, and other technical components while incorporating SEO, accessibility, performance, and conversion best practices.
- Ensure websites and landing pages are built with performance, accessibility, SEO, and conversion best practices in mind.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and support website updates, migrations, and ongoing improvements.
Data & Reporting – 5%
- Build dashboards and reports tracking website, campaign, paid media, search, and other digital performance.
- Analyze trends and translate data into clear, actionable recommendations for the marketing team.
- Present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Competitive Intelligence – 5%
- Use tools such as SpyFu, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and similar platforms to monitor competitors’ search visibility, keywords, paid advertising, backlinks, content, and digital strategies.
- Identify trends and opportunities relevant to Visionary Square.
- Present key findings and actionable recommendations to the marketing team.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in marketing technology, digital marketing, web development, analytics, or a related technical field.
- Experience building websites and landing pages, preferably using HubSpot CMS or similar platforms.
- Experience with paid advertising, website analytics, and competitive intelligence tools such as SpyFu, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Able to independently research problems, identify solutions, and implement them
- Strong experience with HubSpot and an interest in exploring and implementing new functionality.
- Understanding of SEO, with interest or experience in AEO, GEO, and AI search.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS; JavaScript experience preferred.
- Ability to translate data and technical findings into actionable recommendations.
- Curious and proactive about emerging technology, AI, automation, and digital marketing.
Nice To Have
- HubSpot CMS Hub experience or HubSpot certifications.
- Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console experience.
- Google Ads and/or LinkedIn Ads experience.
- Experience with APIs, webhooks, JSON, or marketing platform integrations.
