Technical Marketing Manager, Developer Experience

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Technical Marketing Manager to join the Developer Marketing Team. Our innovative and dynamic organization is responsible for helping to grow our brand presence within the developer community. In this role, you will drive compelling narratives and create engaging content tailored for developers, serving as both a technical marketing manager and an enthusiastic evangelist.

A successful candidate will develop and execute marketing strategies that resonate with technical audiences, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and showcase technical solutions in a clear and compelling way. As a technical marketing manager, you will partner with teams to develop educational, thought leadership, and product-specific content (e.g., blogs, videos, tutorials) that resonates with developers and scales across channels.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Develop and deliver technical marketing content
  2. Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive developer awareness strategies that align with company goals
  3. Translate complex technical solutions into value-driven messaging for key audiences. Serve as a subject matter expert during product launches and events
  4. Partner with product, engineering, and sales teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives and product roadmaps
  5. Work with customers to highlight success stories, creating compelling content that underscores the value of the product or solution
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. 6+ years of technical marketing management experience
  2. Experience working across cross-functional teams
  3. Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
  4. Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations, and with executives (both in customer and internal environments)
  2. Passion for learning and for helping others to learn
