Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Technical Marketing Engineer - SASE to support our office and drive field enablement across SD-WAN and SSE. The role demands deep expertise in SASE architectures, zero-trust security, and strong collaboration with product teams to shape roadmaps and deliver compelling technical content.

The position involves creating demonstrations, leading training for sales engineers, and engaging with customers at events and webinars.

Formación

• 10+ years in a technical role such as TME, sales engineer, or architect in networking/security.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, BGP/OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN, TLS/SSL, VPN/IPsec and packet capture tools.
• Hands-on knowledge of SASE architecture and zero trust principles.
• Experience with SSE functions (ZTNA, SWG, CASB, DLP, DEM, FWaaS) is a plus.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
• CCNP or JNCIP or higher certification preferred.
• Experience with HPE EdgeConnect gateways or Aruba gateways and APs is preferred.

Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Marketing Engineer - SASE to support our office.

The Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) will be the technical expert on HPE Aruba Networking’s SD-WAN and SSE solutions, playing a crucial role in field enablement and product improvement for our networking and security portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert for HPE Aruba Networking’s SASE solutions including the Session Smart Router (SSR)and other SD-WAN/SSE solutions.
• Support global field enablement by training sales engineers, partners, and resellers on technical value and competitive positioning.
• Develop and deliver impactful technical content including whitepapers, solution briefs, videos, and blogs tailored towards network and security architects, and technical buyers.
• Collaborate with Product Management to influence roadmap based on customer feedback and market trends.
• Build and maintain live and recorded product demonstrations, hands‑on labs, and proof‑of‑concept environments.
• Engage with customers, analysts, and partners as a technical expert at events, webinars, and briefings.

Experience and Skills required

• 10+ years in a technical role such as TME, sales engineer, solutions architect, or product engineer in networking and security technologies.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and tools: TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN, switching protocols, TLS/SSL, VPN, IPsec, proxy, and NAT; packet capture tools
• Hands‑on knowledge of SASE architecture and zero trust principles.
• Experience with SSE functions including ZTNA, SWG, CASB, DLP, DEM, FWaaS is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
• Industry certifications such as CCNP or JNCIP or higher are preferred.
• Experience with HPE Networking EdgeConnect gateways and/or HPE Aruba Networking gateway and access point devices is preferred.Experience with SASE solution offerings by other market vendors such as Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, etc.is a plus.
