Job summary

ChemPoint is seeking a Market Developer - Chemical Formulating to secure new business for specialty additives across durable goods, automotive, and industrial segments. You’ll consult on formulation/applications with customers and coordinate with Product Managers to refine value propositions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with sales reps and cross-functional teams to achieve product line goals, with a focus on technical accuracy and market insights.

Qualifications

• Science or technical degree from accredited four-year institution or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years' sales, industry, or product experience.
• Proficiency with PC, Windows OS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Execute targeted sales campaigns with project specifiers and technical staff.
• Define objectives and plans to meet product line goals while mitigating risks.
• Support growth by managing full sales cycle and providing technical support after handoff to an Account Representative.
• Develop technical proficiency by collaborating with customers, suppliers, and Product Managers.
• Deliver product and industry training for sales teams.
• Assist sales reps with technical calls to support development.
• Assist Product Manager in campaign collateral development.
