Job summary

Larson Design Group seeks a highly experienced Technical Manager - Mechanical Engineering to lead mechanical teams across diverse projects. The role emphasizes design excellence, code compliance, and coordination with project managers and leadership.

Responsibilities include technical oversight, QA/QC, and staff development while maintaining budget and schedules. A PE license plus 15+ years’ experience is required; Revit and AutoCAD skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years’ job-related experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and oversight to mechanical engineering teams, ensuring design quality and standards.
• Review mechanical designs, calculations, drawings, and methods for code compliance and best practices.
• Partner with Project Managers to align technical execution with scope, schedules, and budgets.
• Oversee technical, quality, and financial performance of assigned projects and teams.
• Mentor, supervise, and develop mechanical engineering staff through coaching and development.
