Job summary

Larson Design Group is seeking a Senior Engineer with a PE license and 12+ years of experience to lead design efforts and coordinate project submissions. The role includes QA/QC oversight to ensure the final product meets client requirements and budgets.

You will drive technical excellence, mentor engineers and interns, develop schedules and cost estimates, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver innovative, client-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• PE license required
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience
• ABET‑accredited engineering degree required

Responsibilities

• Performs independent planning and design tasks and delivers projects to completion
• Reviews work and ensures technical accuracy of submissions
• Maintains collaborative relationships across departments and disciplines
• Applies codes and standards to project design
• Conducts final QA/QC review of project submittals
• Develops schedules, proposals, and labor hour estimates
• Works with teams to deliver defined scope of work
• Supports quality assurance processes to reduce design errors
• Develops and maintains design budgets for complex scopes
• Mentors engineers and interns for technical growth
