Job summary

Larson Design Group in the Pittsburgh area seeks a Senior Engineer with a PE license to lead design efforts, coordinate QA/QC, and manage project budgets and schedules. This role requires strong technical leadership across multiple disciplines and a track record of delivering complex projects.

Responsibilities include planning, preparing construction documents, mentoring engineers, and ensuring technical excellence using Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and related software packages.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering field relevant to the role.

Responsibilities

• Plans and designs tasks, reviews others' work, and delivers projects to completion.
• Coordinates design activities and project submission schedules.
• Performs QA/QC review of project submissions.
• Develops budgets and estimates for complex scopes of work.
• Leads and mentors engineering associates and interns.
• Maintains cross-functional collaboration across project teams.
• Describes and delivers the scope of work to clients and team members.
• Ensures compliance with codes and standards for project designs.
