Job summary

Eurofins Des Moines GC Department seeks a seasoned science professional to provide technical guidance, supervise senior staff, and ensure strict ISO 17025 quality compliance. You will modify analysis methods, validate methods, and write SOPs and reports while maintaining instrument readiness and safety.

The role emphasizes data interpretation, problem solving, and collaboration with clients and internal teams to deliver accurate results with fast turnaround times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with major in an appropriate science field; Chemistry preferred.
• Experience with ISO 17025 standards and laboratory procedures.
• 5–7 years of applicable and progressively expanded lab experience in design and review of projects.
• Ability to write and review test protocols and reports; strong data interpretation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to the department and supervise senior staff if needed.
• Adhere to ISO/IEC 17025, regulatory, and Quality System requirements.
• Develop, validate, and edit analysis methods; maintain documentation control.
• Instruct and troubleshoot analytical techniques; operate and maintain instruments.
• Write study protocols and reports; monitor projects for quality and productivity.
