Job summary

Paradigm leads infrastructure programs with a strong focus on cloud platforms, guiding engineering teams to design and implement strategic solutions. You will define requirements with customers and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of modernization efforts.

Engage with executives, stay current on technologies and methodologies, and promote effective cross-team communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training & experience required.
• 5 years IT experience with project/program management and technology environments.
• 7+ years with Azure platform (ADO, data fabric, configuration, redesign, etc.).
• Experience delivering Azure redesigns, cloud transformation, or large migrations.
• Familiarity with AWS equivalents (IAM, VPC, Route 53, CloudFormation/Terraform).
• Experience managing Windows OS platforms and strong Kubernetes/AKS skills.
• Hands-on IaC experience, preferably Terraform, plus delivery via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Azure certs or Kubernetes certs (CKA/CKS) are desirable.
• Willingness to come to Chattanooga or Knoxville office up to 50%.

Responsibilities

Provides strategic leadership, direction, design, and engineering for infrastructure programs and projects, with a focus on cloud platforms.

Leads teams in developing and implementing strategic solutions; identifies barriers, escalates concerns, and drives resolution of issues affecting schedules and feature commitments.

Regularly communicates program status to management and executives in formal and informal settings. Promotes effective communication within the technology team and across agency groups.

Meets with internal and external customers to define requirements and serves as a liaison among customers, project leaders, corporate organizations, and contractors.

Maintains current knowledge of emerging technologies, architectures, industry trends, and project and program management methodologies.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science or comparable field of study; or equivalent education, training & experience.
• 5 years of information technology experience with several years' experience in managing projects/programs and technology environments.
• 7+ years working with Azure platform (ADO, data fabric, configuration, redesign, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience delivering an Azure redesign, cloud transformation, landing-zone implementation, large migration, or modernization program.
• Familiarity with AWS equivalents is preferred: IAM, Organizations/Control Tower, VPC, security groups, CloudTrail/CloudWatch, EKS/ECS, ECR, Route 53, and CloudFormation/Terraform.
• Experience managing Windows OS platform
• Strong Kubernetes and container-platform experience, particularly with AKS, ingress/networking, deployment automation, observability, and container security.
• Hands-on knowledge of infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform, plus automated delivery through Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Kubernetes certifications such as CKA/CKS.
• Ability to come to Chattanooga or Knoxville office up to 50%
