Job summary

Mars Petcare in Aurora, Nebraska is seeking a Technical Resource Apprentice to learn on the production floor, providing Progressive Maintenance support and technical help to meet safety, quality and efficiency targets.

You will lead and coach root-cause problem solving with technicians, communicate priorities across shifts, and learn Manufacturing Reliability Fundamentals including IWS and FMOS, while developing and executing CIL, CL, and Defect Management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous maintenance experience or technical education.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
• Successful completion of a drug and background screen.

Responsibilities

• Learn to provide PM capability and technical support for production targets.
• Lead and coach root-cause problem solving with technicians.
• Maintain standard running conditions and repair equipment as needed.
• Document preventive maintenance in SAP Plant Maintenance.
• Support safety, quality and efficiency initiatives on the floor.
