Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Technical Leader to guide architecture, data modeling and integration efforts. You will coach a hands-on team and drive scalable, quality solutions, shaping the technical direction across data and software engineering.

You will report to the Director, Digital Data & Infrastructure and work in a hybrid environment from Mayfield Heights, OH or Milwaukee, WI, with travel up to 10% and a focus on modern engineering practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
Ability to travel, including internationally, up to 10% of time.

Responsibilities

Lead the team accountable for the design and technological architecture of the product.
Guide project teams on technology strategy related to coding practices, CI and automated deployment.
Manage the technical design of the product and make architecture decisions at team and product level.
Coach the technical team, hands-on leader who helps develop solutions and remove obstacles.
Identify and remove technical impediments.
Work with Product Owner to align the roadmap with technical strengths.
Collaborate with Designers on tradeoffs and acceptance criteria.
Seek better ways to solve problems and embrace best practices.
