Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript in designing and extending automation frameworks.
• Experience building, extending, or owning enterprise test automation frameworks.
• Strong background integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, with GitLab preferred.
• Prior roles as QA Automation Lead or Technical Lead demonstrating technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical owner for the organization's test automation strategy and framework.
• Design, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, preferably within GitLab.
• Provide technical leadership to distributed/offshore automation engineers.
• Conduct code reviews and establish automation development standards and best practices.
• Lead automation initiatives from assessment to scaled implementation.
• Support AI-assisted testing capabilities, including test generation and self-healing automation with human review.
• Help establish mobile automation approaches using Appium.
• Partner with internal engineering and QA teams to transfer knowledge and establish sustainable automation practices.
• Support automated testing across web and mobile applications with frequent release cycles.
• Participate onsite in Harrisburg as needed.
