Meta runs a massive hardware infrastructure. The computational problems are big and they keep changing. Your work will shape the power strategies for the compute and AI hardware going into our data centers. We are looking for an experienced power engineer to set the technical direction for power across our server infrastructure.
The scope is the full power chain, from the data center interface to the die. Everything between the building's electrical infrastructure and the IT load, high-voltage DC distribution to the rack, AC/DC and DC/DC conversion in the rack, and DC/DC power delivery on the board. Point of load conversion and power delivery networks feed our accelerators and CPUs at hundreds of amps and sub millivolt tolerances. The multi-hundred-kilowatt AI rack is where they meet.
This is a technical leadership role that owns the power roadmap. Internally, the role works with silicon, platform, thermal, data center design, and capacity teams to define where power architecture needs to go two to three generations out. Externally, it is Meta's technical voice with power vendors, ODMs, and the industry. That includes the Open Compute Project, where we have contributed our designs for over a decade.
