Job summary

Xcimer Energy is seeking a Technical Lead Manager for Power Electronics & EMI/EMC to guide a team of engineers in developing and maturing power electronics at the company. This onsite role is based at our Denver, CO headquarters and focuses on creating robust, EMI/EMC compliant solutions for pulsed power systems.

The candidate will drive technology roadmaps, manage staff, and ensure rigorous standards and best practices across design and verification activities, with a strong emphasis on quality

Qualifications

• Education: M.S.E.E. or higher.
• Experience: >10 years in relevant field.
• Strong background in EMI/EMC specifications, standards and design.
• Expert knowledge of power supply design, PCB layout, and EMI/EMC compliant design.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership over the Power Electronics & EMI/EMC sub-department within Pulsed Power Engineering.
• Mentor and manage team members within the sub-department.
• Develop a technology roadmap for power electronics including high-voltage power supplies, DC-DC converters, and EMI/EMC compliant PCB design.
• Define standards, specifications, requirements and best practices for power electronics and EMI/EMC at Xcimer.
